House of Angostura is a historic distillery best known for its first product, the legendary and ubiquitous Angostura Bitters. Founded in 1830 in the Venezuelan town of Angostura (now Ciudad Bolvar), it moved its base of operations to Trinidad in 1876. Ever since, it has been the primary producer of rum in Trinidad and Tobago, as well as a hugely successful international brand.
