Commercial Description:

Prohibida is only the 2nd ever rum expression Balcones have released to market since they began laying rum down nearly 10 years ago. Created like all their rums, from 100% domestic molasses, but with the addition of aged dunder, Prohibida was double pot distilled then aged in entirely used cooperage, before being finished in their own ex-peated Balcones single malt casks. Matured for 33 months and bottled at 50% ABV.
