Time Bending is a solera-style blend of strong ale and barleywine that dates back to an initial collaboration with The Eighth State Brewing in 2019. Exemplary liquid aged in a medley of Heaven Hill, Willett, and Rittenhouse Rye casks throughout 2019, 2020, and 2021 combines with complex depth — the oldest made soft and round with its extended time in oak, while the youngest offers a spark of molasses-toned bitterness. Aromas of brled sugar, baking spices, and holidays at home loll from the glass in this pecan-finished Pecan Pie-inspired Barleywine.
