Puncheon-aged ale with Syrah grapes
Bridging the divide between beer and wine is becoming something of a habit around here. When we were able to source super-ripe Syrah grapes from the Santa Maria Valley, we knew we were in for a treat. We processed the ripe grapes, blended them into our sour blonde ale, then aged it in neutral oak puncheons, resulting in a complex, funky, full-bodied beer-wine hybrid were sure youll enjoy.
