Aged 2-6 months in used bourbon barrels. Pinas are hand chosen after between 6-7 months of growth and possess residual sugar level of 24% to 27%. This sweetness plus the halving of pinas prior to distillation vs sectioning, gives the Reposado a noticeable sweetness as well as a bronze color with aromas of subtle vanilla cinnamon with a distinctive touch of butterscotch, that leaves a silky, warm and rich medium long finish on the palate.
