Elbling is an ancient grape planted in the Mosel region by the Romans nearly 2000 years ago. It used to be more widely planted in Germany than Riesling! Today, theres limited vineyard space dedicated to it, but it is enjoying a bit of a renaissance amongst German winemakers. This wine is light, easy to drink, and pairs well with salads, seafood, and shellfish. It conveniently comes in a liter bottle – perfect for sharing!
